EPCOT has two distinct halves which are The World Showcase and Future World. EPCOT is serviced by the Walt Disney World Monorail system and is easily accessible from other parks and resort hotels. EPCOT's World Showcase. Experience the scenic wonders of eleven nations which surround the beautiful World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT Center. Much like a journey around the world, each World Showcase pavillion offers an authentic cultural experience including authentic cuisine (the restaurants are a delight), shopping, architecture, artistic and scenic wonders from its homeland. Several pavillions offer informative films and amusing rides which further your experience of the interesting features and heritage of each country.

Nightly entertainment: The remarkable IllumiNations: Reflections Of Earth, includes "lasers", fireworks, rainscreens and music viewed on the banks of the beautiful World Showcase Lagoon with "Spaceship Earth" and the 11 nation pavillions. IllumiNations is said to be one of the most powerful displays of its kind in history. The lasers can be viewed for miles.

Future World. Touch the technology of tomorrow at Future World, explore the wonders of the sea, the land, and the human body in a celebration of imagination. Take a turbulent ride through the human body in a flight simulator, test drive the cars of the future taking hair-pin turns and banked curves at 60mph, descend into an incredible undersea world with sharks, dolphins and manatees, or visit a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth. These are just a few of the exciting attractions you'll find at Epcot Center's Future World, a world where science and imagination meet.

Fun things to see at EPCOT's Future World?

General Motors Test Track. Fun and thrills when you take your convertible test car through it's paces at the GM test Test Track, heat, bumps, stops starts. ( insiders: Test track is neat and 60MPH speeds it sure seems speedy, the test track exits the internal building and you speed along what must be a 30 feet high elevated track which wraps around the huge GM facility. The track makes A LOT of noise and you actually enter the building right from under the track. Fun ride, a little short since the speeds are so high. But towards the end of the ride when you are doing like 60mph and wrapping around the track with the "top down" and what feels like centrifugal forces you can see EPCOT and the Florida air and sunshine rushing past you.. it is really a neat experience).
Innoventions: The road to tomorrow has been completely "re-paved" with the most fascinating hands on technologies ever presented at EPCOT!
Fun stuff for Kids at EPCOT: Kids will have fun at EPCOT. There are rides, shows and games for kids of all ages since this is a Disney theme park. Your kids can expect photo ops with some of the all time great Disney characters and pick up an autograph or two. Kids should be sure not to miss "Honey- I shrunk the Audience" and
